We desire to know God intimately and to understand and apply our faith.
Sometimes we don't feel effective in living this out. We focus on three key areas to help us grow:
Consistent fellowship with others who follow Jesus.
We become like the men we hang around. If you want to grow spiritually, then hang out with guys who also want to grow.
A commitment to the Word of God. Like the Apostle Paul, we live in a tough world! We need God’s truth and grace to thrive. Paul gave us battlefield imagery of the Word of God being like a sword - the offensive weapon for a soldier in his time. We encourage each man to draw close to God, study the Bible, embrace its truths, and obey all that He says.
A passion to be the men God designed us to be. God's intention is that men who know Him walk in intimacy with him. He desires we walk in freedom, in humility, and with a heart of servant leadership everywhere we go.
We keep it simple and relationship focused:
Men’s Coffee: We meet every Wednesday morning at Legends Coffee in Southlands from 6:30am to 7:45am to study and discuss His Word.
Transformation: Our annual Men's Retreat is where we spend several days getting away to completely focus on the Lord and our faith journey. Worship, prayer, teaching, and reflection time saturate this time together.
