Prayer

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.”
Colossians 4:2

We not only worship the God who revealed Himself through the Bible, but we interact with Him as we pray.
Our God is intimate, personal, and desires to have relationship with us.

The work Jesus accomplished makes it possible for us to directly go to the Father with our requests.
Before he was arrested, Jesus said to his disciples, “At that time you will ask in my name, and I do not say that I will ask the Father on your behalf. For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God” (John 16:26-27). The door is open.

Prayer is the foundation of everything we do as a church.
We thank God for his goodness to us. We go to Him on behalf of others.
We listen for direction to join in His work, and  we ask Him for the power of His Holy Spirit to complete our part.
Go before God in prayer at home. Come together for weekly prayer as a church.
Become part of a prayer team to minister to others.  Pray for our church, our community, and our world.
Pray without ceasing!
